Build a PC Empire Leaderboards

Read Build a PC Empire leaderboard categories, metrics, eligibility, refresh timing, and gamepass exclusions before comparing a rank or world record.

The official Build a PC Empire description confirms global leaderboards and world records. It does not publish the category list, scoring formulas, eligibility rules, refresh schedule, tie handling, or archival behavior. A leaderboard result is meaningful only when it includes the exact metric and company context.

Record a ranking completely

FieldRecordReason
Category and metricExact tab, label, value, unit, and whether the board names a world record.Ranks from different metrics cannot be compared.
Rank and scopeGlobal or other scope, displayed rank, neighboring values, and account or company name.Shows what the number represents.
EligibilityNormal or Creative company, passes, go-public count, and any warning text.Paid or sandbox effects may be excluded.
TimeUTC check date, displayed season or update, and refresh information.A live rank can change after the capture.

Take the record from the current interface. A cropped image of a number without the category or date does not support a world-record claim.

Know the confirmed exclusions

The Creative mode pass description says a creative company never counts for leaderboards. This is a clear eligibility boundary. Sandbox results can help test layouts or interfaces, but they cannot be presented as competitive company records.

Double sales says every PC earns double money while the extra money never counts for leaderboards or company valuation. Visible company cash may therefore be higher than the eligible value. Mark pass ownership when comparing cash, valuation, or ranking progress.

The public pass descriptions do not explain every other pass or every board category. Do not infer that a pass is included or excluded without the live rule.

Compare the same metric

Before optimizing, identify what the board actually measures. A rank based on company valuation is not the same as cash, sales, benchmark, goal completion, speed, or number of public companies. Use the displayed label and unit.

Build the company plan around that metric only after confirming eligibility. If the board measures a product result, use controlled PC tests. If it measures company state, use a cash and progression ledger. Avoid strategies that improve a visible but excluded value.

Handle refresh and delay

Live games may update rankings immediately, periodically, on rejoin, or after another event. The current public sources do not state the schedule. Record the action that should change the value, the time, and when the board responds. Rejoin once if the interface appears stale, but do not repeatedly manipulate the server and claim each view as a different result.

If rank and value update at different times, record both. A delay is not proof that the action is ineligible until the current interface or repeated observation supports that conclusion.

Going public and records

Going public starts the company again with permanent perks. The public description does not state how existing leaderboard entries or world records behave after reset. Capture the board before and after, including company identity, metric, and eligibility text.

Do not reset a record-focused company based on an assumed retention rule. Use the rebirth guide to inventory the state and read the current confirmation.

Verify a world-record claim

A strong claim needs the official Experience, leaderboard category, metric, value, global scope, rank, date, company state, eligibility, and an uncropped view that connects the information. Another player should be able to navigate to the same board and understand what was achieved.

If the board is seasonal, archived, or recently reset, include that label. If a value is tied, record the displayed tie behavior rather than assigning an unsupported sole record.

Competitive mistakes to avoid

  • Comparing cash that includes excluded Double sales money with leaderboard valuation.
  • Using a Creative company result even though that mode never counts.
  • Calling a number a world record without the category, rank, and date.
  • Comparing ranks captured before and after a board refresh as if they were simultaneous.
  • Optimizing an assumed formula instead of the metric displayed by the game.
  • Resetting through go public without checking rank and entry persistence.

Rules still requiring direct verification

Leaderboard categories, metrics, formulas, eligible company types, pass interactions, refresh schedule, season boundaries, tie rules, anti-cheat review, server scope, archival behavior, go-public interaction, and world-record definition all require current in-game evidence.

The verified foundation is narrower but useful: global leaderboards and world records exist, Creative companies do not count, and Double sales bonus money does not count for leaderboards or valuation. Every deeper rule should be attached to the current board and check date.
